Bangalore: The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is set to begin an online survey to get inputs to improve its feeder services in providing last mile connectivity to Namma Metro stations.

The survey comes following reports of lack of last mile connectivity keeping many commuters away from the Metro.

More Information:

  • Surveys by other organisations have found that nearly 80 percent of the Metro riders are those who live near the Metro stations.
  • The survey will be held between August 3 & 15.

  1. To improve Metro feeder service of route MF17.
MF17 plying between Nayandahalli & Gottigere passes through ISRO Layout and further goes to Gottigere via Konanakunte cross
without touching Yelachenahalli metro station, which is 1km from Konanakunte cross.
For people living in areas along the route, please modify the route, so that it touches Yelchenahall Metro station.after Isro layout.
The same is to be done for return trip from Gottigere. By this more people will be able to reach Metro.
