The effort and focus all through was to be a ‘differentiator’ in all the facets of Logistics Services that are required to be provided in a Client’s Supply Chain. Service bouquet that commenced with Project Cargo Management expanded through the verticals like Warehousing, IT Services, Tax Consultancy, Custom House Agency, Project Solutions Management, Chartering, etc., for various Industry Verticals like Rail, Auto, Power, Wind Energy, Oil & Gas and Steel.
One such effort in this direction was Procam’s Innovative contribution in the Rail Industry by introducing the 4-Point Lift Jack System (400 MT) for loading and unloading of metro coaches in place of an existing traditional methodology using Cranes. It marked as a critical factor for Safety, Eco Friendly & Precision Handling (‘0’ Tolerance) of the metro coaches for Private and Government Organizations currently operating Metro Rail System in India.
Procam’s contribution in Railway industry has been immensely improving over the years, touching a milestone of transporting more than 1600 metro cars, more than 30 Tunnel Boring Machines across various Metro Projects in India such as :

- Bengaluru Metro Project

Scope of Work :
- Port Handling and Custom Clearance.
- Transportation on Special Hydraulic Trailers with Heavy Duty Prime Movers across distances over 1200 km.
- Loading & Unloading of metro using 4 Point Lift System and placement on Rails.
Challenges :
- High HSE Compliances at Client’s site before commencement of every job.
- Height gauge, Railway shutdowns & several other statutory permissions had to be taken.
- A detailed Journey Management Plan of a convoy spanning 6-8 trailers, to traverse various terrains.
A remarkable challenge, these were surmounted by the efficient team, complying with necessary HSE regulations throughout, and in line with Procam’s Vision of Delivering Innovation & Commitment.
