Kolkata Metro : Bids Invited for Electrical & Mechanical works on Airport-New Garia and Joka-Majerhat Metro Corridors

Days after resuming work on metro rail project in Kolkata, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has now invited bids under single stage two packet system for the work of ‘Engineering, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Electrical & Mechanical works of 7 stations in Airport-New Garia Corridor (from Barun Sengupta to Bidhan nagar) and 4 stations in Joka-Majerhat Corridor (from Behala Bazar –Mominpur) of Metro Railway Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

Estimated Cost of Project: Approx. Rs.75.91 Crores

Bid Security: Rs 1.52 Crores

Period of Completion: 30 Months

Pre-bid Meeting: A pre-bid meeting will be held on 29/05/2020 at 11.30 hrs in Rail Vikas Nigam limited Office New Delhi at August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji CamaPlace, New Delhi  or through video conference to clarify any issues and answer any queries on any other matter relating to the services.

Scope of Work-

This scope of work includes the “E&M works of 7 stations (from Barun Sengupta to Bidhan nagar) and 4 stations from (Behala Bazar – Mominpur) including Heating Ventilation & air condition (HVAC), illumination, Fire detection, Fire suppression pumping and pipelines and its outlets as well as fire suppression system for 50% of viaduct between adjacent stations on either side. The alignment is predominantly along the existing road.

The works to be executed under the Contract include detailed preparation and development of Good for Construction drawings on the basis of drawings supplied and to be approved from Employer. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning including testing, Technical support in taking statutory approvals, preparation of as built drawings.
