LMRC In Association With Red Brigade Lucknow Organises “Raat Ka Ujala” Campaign At Charbagh Metro Station

LMRC In association with Red Brigade Lucknow – Non Government Organisation (NGO) today organised a campaign titled “Raat Ka Ujala” at the Charbagh Metro station. Ms. Sanyukta Bhatia, hon’ble Mayor of Lucknow and Mr. Kumar Keshav, Managing Director, LMRC were present on the occasion to boost the morale of the Red Brigade girls and their team.

The main objective of this program was to strike the conversation thinking towards women and break the psychological barrier, strengthen the voice of women and girls and ensure their right to life and safety, awareness for the woman’s honour and create an atmosphere for safety and need of self-defence.

During the campaign, a ‘Nukkad Natak’ and a musical performance was done by ‘Zindagi Band’ from Red Brigade Lucknow based on women issues like their rights, safety, security etc.

A group of approximately 50 to 60 from this NGO under the supervision of Ms. Usha Vishwakarma also travelled in Metro from Charbagh to Krishna Nagar and back to Charbagh. They interacted with women Metro travellers on their issues like rights and safety and also provided them safety tips so that they can take safety measures during the night journey.
