MahaMetro to install e-Vehicle Charging points at stations

Nagpur: MahaMetro Will now also Provide Charging e-Vehicles at its stations in the city. Through this, it will also raise revenue. On thursday, Maha Metro has signed and agreement with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) company, a joint venture of the ministry of energy , government of India.

Based on the green theme concept , 965 solar panels have been installed at the metro stations in the Maha Metro Nagpur Project. Through them , Maha Metro Wants to get 65% energy. In an important step towards environmental preservation , Maha Metro has tied up with EESL.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Maha Metro executive Directors (Planning Department ) Aanand Kumar and energy efficiency services limited (East Maharashtra) Regional head Kishor chavan in the presence of Directors (Rolling Stock ) Sunil Mathur , Directors (Project ) Mahesh Kumar , Directors (Finance ).

Chief Project Manager (Solar and Stations ) Himanshu Ghatuwari , Deputy General Manager (Solar ) Narendra Ahir , Assistant Engineer of Energy Efficiency Services Kunal Soni . Jijoba Pardhi ,Dipankar Bagde & Other officials Were Present.
