Recently Taikisha Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. (TEI) has been presented the prestigious award for “Achievement in Import Substitution” for their Pune & Vadodara factory work. They are manufacturing several components & large assemblies for metro coaches, locomotive parts & railways for their clients like ABB, GE, Bombardier, Indian Railways, etc., which were earlier being imported. EN 15085-2 CL-1 Certified welding is deployed for these sophisticated fabricated parts, which meets the welding quality requirements as per ISO 3834-2.
TEI has developed fuel tank of 4500 HP Diesel Locomotive Engine, size 2.5 mtr width x 4.8 mtr long and having weight 3900 kgs for GE-Diesel locomotive. The tank has fuel storing capacity of 6000 ltrs.
Railway EPC Business of Taikisha
TEI is actively operating a business vertical catering to EPC business of Railways. This division has successfully completed various EPC projects including DLW Varanasi which comprised of Paint Booths for Locomotives, ASRS, Traverser, HT/LT Electricals, 1 MW Solar power etc.
Now TEI is executing EPC project at Visakhapatnam ( In JV with Civil company ) which includes Civil, Electricals, S&T, P Way, 1 MW solar power, Mechanical, ASRS, Paint Booths & Ovens. TEI has capable experts team for Design, Layout Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Installation & Commissioning for such EPC projects of Indian Railways.
Under this division TEI has also started undertaking Operation of Painting Plant at Rae Bareli, and has also taken AMC for 5 years.
TEI has a very dynamic future expansion plan for Indian Railways due to huge opportunities available & TEI’s excellent stability & over more than 24 years of operational experience in India.
