Shekhar Dutt, Hon’ble former Governor of Chhatisgarh (in Middle)Ircon International Limited, the leading construction PSU has been conferred two prestigious awards in an event organized by Institute of Economic Studies on 14 th April 2018 at New Delhi. The company was presented Excellence Award whereas Sh. S. K. Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director of Ircon International Ltd. was honored with Udyog Rattan Award. Speaking on the occasion, Sh. S. K. Chaudhary highlighted the contribution of IRCON and other PSUs in the economic growth of the nation. He said, “The PSUs have to meet the twin objectives of being profitable to themselves and profitable to the society as well. IRCON International ltd. has been striving to meet these two objectives for the last four decades and the country is witnessing its efforts and contributions, particularly in rail and road infrastructure.”
श्री एस. के. चौधरी (दाएं), अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक, इरकॉन इंटरनेशनल लिमिटेड को‘एक्सलेंस अवार्ड’ एवं ‘उद्योग रतन अवार्ड’ से सम्मानित करते श्री बी. पी. सिंह, माननीय पूर्वराज्यपाल, सिक्किम (बाएं), एवं श्री शेखर दत्त, माननीय पूर्व राज्यपाल, छत्तीसगढ़ (बीच में) भारत की सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की अग्रणी निर्माण कंपनी इरकॉन इंटरनेशनल लिमिटेड को दोप्रतिष्ठित अवार्डों से सम्मानित किया गया है। ये अवार्ड इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ़ इकनॉमिक स्टडीज़ कीतरफ़ से दिनांक 14 अप्रैल 2018 को नई दिल्ली में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में प्रदान किए उद्योग जगत में उल्लेखनीय योगदान के लिए इरकॉन इंटरनेशनल लिमिटेड को एक्सलेंस अवार्ड से सम्मानित किया गया, जबकि इरकॉन के अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक श्री एस. के. चौधरी को उद्योग रतन अवार्ड से सम्मानित किया गया। इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए श्री एस. के. चौधरी ने देश की आर्थिक प्रगति में इरकॉन तथा सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के अन्य उपक्रमों के योगदान को रेखांकित करते हुए कहा, “लोक उपक्रमों के समक्ष दोहरे उद्देश्य की प्राप्ति की चुनौती होती है। एक तरफ़ उन्हें अपने लिए लाभ कमाना होता है, तो दूसरी तरफ़ उन्हें समाज का लाभ भी सुनिश्चित करना होता है। पिछले चार दशकों से इरकॉन इंटरनेशनल लिमिटेड इन दो उद्देश्यों की प्राप्ति के निरंतर प्रयत्नशील है तथा, विशेष रूप से, रेल एवं सड़क अवसंरचना के निर्माण में इरकॉन के योगदान को पूरा देश देख रहा है।”
