World’s Largest School And City’s Fastest Mode Of Public Transport Come Together; Interactive Session Organised By Lmrc At Cms

It was an occasion worth remembering when the world’s largest school and the city’s fastest mode of public transport came together at City Montessori School, LDA Branch on 7th December, 2018. An interactive session was held at CMS Auditorium where around 350 new recruits of LMRC (Assistant Managers, Junior Engineers, Station Controllers & Train Operators and Maintainers) attended a special lecture by Dr. Jagdish Gandhi, founder member of City Montessori School.

The interaction was a part of the series of such sessions being conducted for the new recruits with esteemed dignitaries to provide them with a vision to succeed. All the new recruits have been awarded competency certificates after successful completion of classroom and on-the-job training.

The session commenced with lighting of the lamp by Dr. Jagdish Gandhi, Shri Kumar Keshav, (MD, LMRC), senior officials and all the new recruits of LMRC followed by a warm welcome address by Shri Kumar Keshav, who appreciated the entire team of LMRC for their commitment and dedication towards building a better future. He added, “All our new recruits are ready to take charge of their new roles as the strength of LMRC as we gear up for the commencement of the commercial operations of the balance section of the North-South Corridor in April, 2019.”

The keynote address by Dr. Jagdish Gandhi stressed on the importance of high moral and ethical values in all walks of life and called upon the new recruits of Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation to be truthful, courteous, obedient, selfless and friendly in all their personal and professional endeavours.

He appreciated the courteousness of LMRC employees and their willingness to assist the passengers with the best of their ability and said that LMRC is admirably abiding by the values of Mahatma Gandhi that the customer is the most important visitor on our premises and serving them is an honour for us. He inspired the new recruits with his words of wisdom and spiritual philosophy to lead a content and honourable life.

Shri Kumar Keshav presented Lucknow Metro Coffee Table Book to Dr. Gandhi expressing his gratitude to City Montessori School for organising the event. The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Shishir Somvanshi, AGM Operations, LMRC followed by a group photograph of the dignitaries with the new recruits of 2018 batch.
