Kolkata Metro Railway has been constantly striving for providing better amenities for passengers. Automatic Smart Card Recharge Machines (ASCRM) for recharging Smart Cards and issuing tokens have been installed at different Metro stations.
More details:
- These machines immensely help passengers as they don’t have to stand in the queue.
- Metro Railway has so far installed 19 Automatic Smart Card Recharge Machines (ASCRM) at 16 Metro Stations of the North-South Metro Corridor for the convenience of Metro commuters.
- ASCRMs are now available at Dakshineswar, Baranagar, Dum Dum, Shyambazar, Central, Chandni Chowk, Esplanade, Park Street, Maidan, Rabindra Sadan, Jatin Das Park, Kalighat, Rabindra Sarobar, Mahanayak Uttam Kumar, Kavi Nazrul and Kavi Subhas stations.
- More such ASCRMs will be installed at other stations too in the coming days to ensure hassle-free and more comfortable journeys for the Metro commuters.
