General:
- Any Tenderer from a country which shares a land border with India and to which the Govt. of India has not extended lines of credit or in which the Govt. of India is not engaged in development projects, will be eligible to bid in this Tender, only if the Tenderer is registered with the “Competent Authority”, as defined in EQC clause 2.8.
Note:
- Late Tenders received after stipulated time of submission of Tender on the specified date, shall not be accepted under any circumstances.
- Tenders shall be valid for a period of 180 days from the latest date of submission of Tenders and shall be accompanied with a Tender Guarantee as per ITT Clause C16.
- A firm after purchase of the Tender documents in their name can submit the Tender in their name only, either as an individual firm or as a Joint Venture/Consortium.
- The Contract shall be governed by the documents listed under ‘Contract Agreement’ of ‘Schedules to Special Conditions of Contract’ in Section-VII.
- All Tenderers to note that only HARD COPY of Tender Proposals duly signed and stamped along with the other Qualifying documents should be submitted by speed post or in person at the place, date and time as mentioned in the ‘Key Details’ of Tender Notification.
- Tenderers are advised to note the instructions contained in ‘Instructions to Tenderers ‘Eligibility and Qualification Criteria (EQC)’ and ‘Form of Tender (FOT)’ prescribed in the Tender documents. The Tenderer shall have and fulfill the minimum requirements specified in EQC and ‘Qualification cum Technical Criteria ‘indicated in the Tender Document.
- All Tenderers are hereby cautioned that the Tenders containing any deviation from Contractual terms and Conditions, Specifications and other requirements, save as provided for in Instructions to Tenderers’ and/or minor deviations shall include the cost for withdrawal of deviations as specified in ITT clause C2.1.3.
- The Employer requires that the Tenderers and Contractors observe the highest standard of ethics during the procurement and execution of the contract. In pursuance of this policy, The Employer:
- Will reject the Tender for the Work or rescind the Contract, if the Employer determines that the Tenderer / Contractor has engaged in corrupt or fraudulent practices.
- Will declare a Contractor ineligible, either indefinitely or for a stated period of time, to be awarded a Contract, if he at any time determines that the Tenderer or the Contractor has engaged in corrupt or fraudulent practices in competing for, or in executing, the Contract.
About the Project:
- The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited is entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the Bangalore Metro Rail project.
- The Phase-2 of Bangalore Metro Rail Project consists of Four Extensions to the existing lines and Two New Lines with a total length of 72.095 km with 61 stations (49 Elevated and 12 Underground).
