
BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited has secured a Rs. 64.39 crores contract for designing, supplying, erecting, testing, and commissioning 25KV electrification OHE, TSS, and SCADA systems for the Araria-Thakurganj new line section of N.F. Railway. The project, awarded under Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, marks another milestone in BCPL’s growing railway infrastructure portfolio.
Contract Overview:
The project involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 25KV, 50Hz, Single Phase AC electrification system. The work covers the OHE and TSS for the new Araria-Galgalia line section, totaling 106.958 RKM (Route Kilometres) and 119.27 TKM (Track Kilometres). The contract also includes associated SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) works for the section.

This development marks a vital step towards enhancing railway infrastructure in the region. The project will improve connectivity and operational efficiency, contributing to the broader electrification goals of Indian Railways.
