
In a major advancement for railway infrastructure, BCPL Railway Infra has secured a substantial contract worth 349.47 million from Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Ltd. (‘K-Ride’). This contract involves carrying out electrical work for the doubling of railway tracks in the Bangalore division of South Western Railway.

BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited (Erstwhile Bapi Construction Electrical Engineering Pvt. Ltd.) is a BSE Listed Company (BSE Code:542057), engaged in the field of railway infrastructure development, has bagged a significant order valued approx. 349.47 million from Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Ltd. (‘K-Ride‘) for design, supply, erection, testing & commissioning of electrical work for the doubling of railway track in Bangalore division of South Western Railway, this project aims to enhance rail connectivity as well as passengers and freight convenience in the region.
Scope of Work under this Order:
- This order has been received for the work of “Design, Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 25kV, AC, 50Hz, Single phase, Traction Overhead Equipment for doubling of 1. Banaswadi (Incl) (211/090) – Baiyyappanahalli A Cabin (Excl) (205/378 in BAND-BYPL line) Section (10 TKM approx.) 2.a) Baiyyappanahalli A Cabin (incl) (205/378 in ANDBYPL line & 205/650 in BYPL-SBC line) – Bellandur Road (Excl.) (197/600) Section 2.b) Anekal Road (Excl.) (171/600)- Hosur (Excl.) (159/750) Section (25.5 TKM approx.) Overall TKM of 35.5 approximately and including any modification in existing OHE/PSI if required in the Bangalore division of South Western Railway.”
- The total project cost comprises Rs. 349.47 million and it is expected to be executed over a period of 15 months.

Commenting on the same, Mr. Aparesh Nandi, Chairman said, “We at BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited are pleased to inform our stakeholders on our recent order intake for the second time with “K-Ride”. The value of this order is Rs. 349.47 million and we are quite optimistic about the pipeline of orders in the coming months and in near future also. We expect to end the year on a robust order book.”
