
As part of creating safety awareness to the general public and passengers travelling in the Metro Train, it has been planned to conduct Covid-19 related awareness drives in the Metro Stations and Metro Trains.
- In continuation with Covid-19 Awareness Drives, CMRL in association with Nimirvu Kalaiyagam will be doing a Parai Performance at Thiruvottiyur Metro Station (Street Level) from 06:30 pm – 08:30 pm on 20.02.2021 (Saturday).
- In this connection, CMRL in association with On the Streets of Chennai will be performing a musical performance at Wimco Nagar Metro Station (Street Level) from 06:00 pm – 08.00 pm on 20.02.2021 (Saturday).
Recent Achievement:
Meanwhile , after the inauguration of Phase-I Extension from Vtlashennanpet to Wimeo Nagar 80,152 passengers have travelled in Chennai Metro Train on 15.02.2021.
A total of 9,972 passengers have travelled in the Phase-I Extension on 15.02.2021.
