Chennai Metro update: Tenders invited for construction of Depot at Poonamallee

In continuation to the tender for construction of underground stations in corridor-5 of Phase-2, the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has now invited digitally signed tender through e-procurement portal from Reputed, Experienced, Financially sound, eligible applicants, who fulfill the qualification criteria as mentioned in the tender through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) under Single Stage two Envelope with initial filter (Technical & Financial) system for the works as detailed below:

  • Tender No.: CMRL/CON/PHASE-II/C4-DPT-01/2021
  • Name of work: Construction of Depot at Poonamallee including Structural Works, Architectural Finishes, Plumbing Works, Signages, Utility shifting & Boundary wall and all Associated works.
  • Bid validity: 180 days from the date of submission of Bid.
  • EMD: INR 2.02 Crores
  • Duration of Contract: 1095 days
  • Bid Documents Fee:
    • There will be a non-refundable Bid document Fee of INR 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only) including GST to be paid by NEFT/RTGS/Demand Draft. 
    • Submission of Originals: Bid document Fee in case Demand Draft (in originals) shall be accepted only up to 15:00 Hrs on 08/04/2021 in the office of AGM (CP) at the address mentioned hereinafter. 
    • In case of RTGS/NEFT transactions, bidders shall upload the scanned copies of transaction of payment at the time of online bid submission and a copy of the same shall be submitted at the office of AGM (CP) at the address mentioned hereinafter prior to 08/04/2021 up to 15:00 hrs.
    • A copy of GST Registration Details to be provided along with Bid document Fee/EMD
  • Pre-bid Meeting: 12/02/2021 at 11:00 hours in the CMRL Conference Room, followed by site visit
  • Last date of Seeking Clarifications/By email/letter by post: 17/02/2021 up to 18:00 hours Queries/clarifications from bidders after due date and time shall not be acknowledged.
  • Last Date for issuing addendum and pre- bid replies: 27/02/2021 up to 18:00 Hrs
  • Last Date and Time of submission/uploading of Bid: 12/04/2021 up to 15:00 Hrs
  • Date and Time of opening of Bid: 13/04/2021 at 15:00 Hrs
