Scope of Work:
- The Scope of work is Design, Supply and installation of New Signages & Maintenance of Existing Signages fixed at All Metro Stations of Phase-1 (19 Underground Stations, 13 Elevated Stations, Koyambedu Depot & Admin Building), Phase-1 Extension (2 Underground stations, 6 Elevated Stations & Wimco Nagar Depot), All Viaduct, Tunnel Area, Adjacent Roads & Streets , Nearby Important Catchment area, Adjacent Railway Stations, Subways/ Foot Over Bridge, Bus Stands and Bus Stops etc.
- All types of New Signages including the Illuminated, Non illuminated , Photo-luminescent and Retro-reflective Signages will be installed at all levels of Station interior area and exterior area of, (1) Phase-1 Underground Stations such as Washermanpet, Mannadi, High Court, Chennai Central, Government Estate, LIC, Thousand Lights, AG-DMS, Teynampet, Nandanam, Saidapet, Egmore, Nehru Park, Kilpauk, Pachaiyappa’s college, Shenoy Nagar, Anna Nagar East, Anna Nagar tower, Thirumangalam and Phase-1 Elevated Stations such as Koyambedu, CMBT, Arumbakkam, Vadapalani, Ashok Nagar, Ekkattuthangal, Alandur, St Thomas Mount, Little mount, Guindy, Nanganallur Road, Meenambakkam and Airport (2)Phase-1 Extensions Underground Stations such as Sir Thiyagaraya College, Tondiarpet and Elevated Stations such as New washermanpet, Kaladipet, Tollgate, Tiruvottriyur Theradi, Thiruvottiyur Metro, and Wimco Nagar (3) Wimco Nagar Depot, Koyambedu Depot & Admin Building; and (4) New Multimodal Integration signages including the

- The General scope of works includes but not limited to:
- Carrying out signage Repair and Maintenance works at all metro Stations, Depots, Viaduct and tunnel.
- Fixing of new Signages when and where required as per Engineer instruction.
- Co-ordination with Operation & Maintenance Department of CMRL to carry out the maintenance works.
- For petty and other miscellaneous maintenance works, contractor shall execute the works as per the directions and instructions of Engineer-in-charge.
- Submission of Structural Design and drawings, calculations, Shop Drawings, Graphics design should be as per CMRL Signage Guidelines and estimate to facilitate the Employer to issue Approval for each work identified by the Employer.
- Carrying out all petty and emergency works.
- Co-ordination with other Interfacing Government Authorities such as Corporation, Indian Railways, MTC, Highways, Traffic Department, AAI etc
