 Introduction of Work:

Scope of Work: 

The scope of work is to “Design & Supply of 220kV Cable system (Cable system consists of cable, straight through joint boxes and end termination) with all accessories for Sahibabad & Murad Nagar RSS of Contract Package 19 LOT-1 & Lot-2 of National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).” The work shall include but not limited to the following:

  • Manufacture in line with technical specification, GTP, type test, inspection and delivery of 220kV cable as per requirement specified and in accordance with the international standards.
  • Design of bonding shall be in the scope of the contractor. Depending upon the route finally chosen, the contractor shall prepare a design for bonding and shall establish that with the bonding method adopted, the sheath voltages do not exceed the max permissible limit.
  • Supply of complete kits with accessories for jointing, cross bonding, midpoint bonding, single point bonding, termination of cable and provision of required number of Sheath Voltage Limiters (SVL) and link boxes.
  • Installation of Straight Through Joints, Terminations, Bonding kits with SVL, Link Box etc. for EHV cable. Contractor is required to depute his OEM certified jointer for installation of Straight Through Joints, Terminations, Bonding kits with SVL, Link Box etc within 7 days from intimation by the Employer. However, the cable laying contractor for cable laying shall be provided by IRCON.
