In the past four days alone—September 9, 10, 11, and 12—Delhi Metro registered some of its highest passenger journeys, securing spots among the top five records:
- 2nd highest on 09th September – 77, 16,910 journeys
- 3rd highest on 10th September – 75, 71,124 journeys
- 4th highest on 11th September – 75, 50,620 journeys
- 5th highest on 12th September – 73, 25,403 journeys
Response to Increased Demand:
To accommodate the growing number of passengers, DMRC has deployed an additional train on all lines, resulting in 84 extra train trips today and tomorrow. This measure will continue on weekdays if required to ensure smooth and efficient service for commuters.
