The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) has invited online open e-tenders for the work CONTRACT DC-10: “Architectural Finishing Works Including Design, Fabrication, Supply, Erection & Roof sheeting of Prefabricated Steel Roof Portal Pre- Engineered Building (PEB) Structures & Foot Over Bridge (FOB) including Design & Construction (Substructure & Superstructure) & necessary changes in existing station for connection of FOB, External facade, Water Supply, Sanitary Installation, Drainage, Site development works at Fifteen Elevated Stations namely Keshopur, Paschim Vihar, Peeragarhi, Mangol Puri, West Enclave, Pushpanjali, Deepali Chowk, Madhuban Chowk, Prashant Vihar, North Pitampura, Haiderpur Badli Mor (over existing Line-2 station), Bhalaswa, Majlis Park, Azadpur & Ashok Vihar on Janakpuri West to R.K.Ashram Corridor (Extn. of Line-8) of Phase-IV of Delhi MRTS”

Scope of work:
The scope of work, inter-alia includes the following but the scope includes all other requirements stipulated in various parts/volumes of the contract document including appendices and annexure thereto.
- Architectural finishing works such as Flooring, Cladding, Painting, SS work, MS work, False ceiling, Aluminium, Fire doors, metal doors, Glass work, Glazing works, Counters, Toilet cubicles, Waterproofing, GRC, site development works, Plumbing, Drainage, sanitary works, etc. at fifteen elevated stations as mentioned in clause 2.0 above complete in all respect.
- Design, Fabrication, Supply, Erection & Roof sheeting of Prefabricated Steel Roof Portal Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Structures including Entry/Exit structures as shown in Tender drawings at all fifteen stations. The credentials of specialized agency having experience of similar works shall be submitted well in advance to DMRC for approval.
- Design & Construction of Foot Over Bridge (FOB) (Sub-structure & Super structure) including necessary changes in existing station for connection of FOB complete in all respect. The locations of FOB are shown in Tender drawings. The credentials of specialized agency having experience of similar works shall be submitted well in advance to DMRC for approval.
- External facade, Water Supply, Sewer Line, Sanitary Installation, Drainage, Site development works etc. at all stations.
- The works as mentioned in the Employer‟s Requirement, Outline Design Specifications (Design Criteria), Outline Construction Specifications for Civil Works & Technical Specification for Architectural & Finishes Works and other tender documents are inclusive in the quoted price unless otherwise specified. Nothing extra shall be payable on this account.
- Any other works shall be executed as per site requirement and as per the direction of Engineer In-charge.
Implementation of BIM System for finishing contractor
- The Contractor shall implement BIM system (BIM 360) for executing and delivering the services set out in Agreement. Building Information Modelling (BIM 360) uses computing power and systems to create 3D models of all kind of buildings and infrastructure, with information about its design, operation and current condition. At the planning and design stage it enables designers, owners and users to work together to produce the best possible designs and to test them virtually before they are constructed. During construction, it enables DMRCs, contractors and suppliers to integrate all components cutting out waste and reducing the risk of errors. Further, it works as an integrated document Management System for the Project. In operation it provides users with real-time information about available services and facility managers with accurate assessments of the condition of assets.
- All station Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) & Foot Over Bridge (FOB) structure designs shall be done by the designer using BIM modeling. The contractor shall implement the necessary hardware, software and human resources towards this end. 3D coordination between all disciplines shall be achieved by incorporating them in a single model for finishing, PEB Structure, Roofing & FOB structure similar input will be provided by the contractor for which design is to be done by them. BIM 360 for BIM collaboration, Auto Desk AEC collection including Navis works software‟s for BIM model development and clash detection.
- Contractor shall be required to produce, update and present to DMRC on a fortnightly basis an integrated 3D BIM model incorporating rail track, topography, architecture, structure, plumbing and all other building services and system wide requirements in design review meetings based upon inputs from DDC appointed separately. These models shall be 3D rendered and shall help in design visualization and clash detection of elements as well as finalization of design.
- In addition, Contractor shall also provide following individual models:-
- Station Plumbing Modelling
- Clash Detection
- Quantity take-off from BIM Model
- Visualization and Animated Walk throughs
- Final coordinated GFC drawings of all disciplines shall only be generated from the BIM model.
- The contractor shall develop “As built” BIM Model upto LOD 500 level and submit the same to DMRC at the time of completion of the project. Schedule of BIM implementation Plan and standards to be adhered to, shall be provided after award of contract.
- Implementation of software based billing & labour Management system.
