About the Current System:
- The existing PAS/PIDS system in DMRC consist of central system comprising of cluster server interfaced with ATS system, Master clock, Telephone system, Radio System, FOTS (LAN) connected to the client PAS/PIDS server installed in each and every station and forms a PAS/PIDS network with the help of which centralized information related to audio and display can be distributed over the network and displayed and announced accordingly at station level. In addition to this it is possible to display the written text messages and announce the audio messages generated centrally from OCC as well as locally from individual stations from SCR.
- The Public Address System (PAS)/ Passenger Information Display system (PIDS) are the primary means of visual & audio communications with passengers at station concourses and platforms for the notification of scheduled train arrivals and departures and for operational, normal and emergency including evacuation message displays to passengers.
- The PAS/ PIDS at stations have access from the following locations as a Minimum:
- From the Station Control Room (SCR) to the PAS/ PIDS at the station.
- From the OCC to the PAS/ PIDS at one station.
- From the OCC to a group of stations.
- From the OCC to all stations of a line/lines.
- The PAS/ PIDS Systems are in co-ordination automatically to provide real time passenger audio broadcast and visual information on designated platforms at each station and in concourse at each station. The PIDS and PAS respond to special trains running interrupt messages from the Train Control and Signalling System. PAS/ PIDS operator is able to display special or emergency messages for passengers and staff on individual or all display boards.
Scope of Work:
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of PIDS/PAS servers at OCC (Shastri Park) and BCC (Metro Bhawan) along with 02 numbers of integrated PIDS/PAS MMI workstations as per BOQ.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of integrated Pids and PAS Management software at OCC (Shpk) and BCC (MB) as per BOQ.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Digital Call stations at OCC (Shpk) and BCC (MB) as per BOQ.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Network Management Server (NMS) at OCC along with 02 numbers of workstations, one each at OCC (Shpk) and BCC (MB).
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of NMS software at OCC and BCC.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of PIDS/PAS servers at stations of Line-1 from Dilshad Garden to Rithala along with integrated PIDS/PAS MMI workstations with Mic and speakers of workstation at all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of integrated PIDS and PAS Management software at all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of complete PAS at all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI consisting of Zone Controllers, Amplifiers, EPABX interface module, Control and monitoring panel and Ethernet to serial convertor module.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Ambient noise sensing devices at all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI as per BOQ.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Digital Call stations at Station Control Room of all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI as per BOQ.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Digital Call stations at Platform Supervisory Booth present at both platforms of all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI as per BOQ.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Platform LED PIDS boards at platforms of stations of Line-1 as per Annexure-A.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Concourse LED PIDS boards at Concourse of stations of Line-1 as per Annexure-A.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of cable for ambient noise sensing devices at all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI as per BOQ.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of cable for Digital Call Stations at SCR and Platform for PSB at all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI as per BOQ.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Layer-3 Network Switch at each OCC and BCC.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Layer-2 managed Network Switch at all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Mounting Fixtures for PIDS boards which are to be installed at Platform and Concourse of all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI.
- Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of other items like base frame, installation material necessary for installation of the PAS equipment at all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI.
- Dismantling of existing stations PIDS/PAS servers as per BOQ and shifting to Telecom Store or any location as decided by DMRC.
- Dismantling of existing stations PAS rack and shifting to Telecom Store or any location as decided by DMRC.
- Dismantling of existing station Noise sensors and shifting to Telecom Store or any location as decided by DMRC.
- Dismantling of existing station PIDS boards as per Annexure-A and shifting to Telecom Store or any location as decided by DMRC.
- Integration and Testing of PIDS and PAS system with existing TC&S system at central level (OCC).
- Integration and Testing of PIDS and PAS system with existing system at station level at all stations of Line-1 from DSG to RI.
- Integration and Testing of PIDS and PAS system with other systems like Radio system, Telephone system, Clock System etc.
- The installation of the PAS/ PIDS equipment also includes the supply and installation of all related data cable/ fibres along with all relevant connectors supported interfaces, thimbles etc. However, the contractor may use the power and data cable of the existing PAS/ PIDS equipment wherever possible as per site condition in case any additional/new cabling is required to be done it, will be within the scope of the contractor.
- The work also includes, supply of other items necessary for installation of PAS/ PIDS equipment like different type of connectors, cable, jumpers, cable ties, nut-bolts, thimbles, data converter, junction boxes, earthling etc. and their installation are to be provided by the contractors.
- For laying of cables of fixing of equipments any civil work required like drilling on the wall, welding, making small cut-out and restoration of the same after completion of the activity will be in the scope of the contractor. Such Civil work must require prior approval of the Employer. Contractor must inspect all the site/locations where the work to be carried out from time to time and must plan site activity in detail accordingly.
- The existing PAS/ PIDS equipment is mounted at various locations over the primary fixture provided by DMRC. The contractor can use the same primary fixture by provision of secondary fixture. However, in case there is requirement to have a new set of primary fixture as per site condition it will be responsibility of the contractor to supply and install the fixture. However, contractor will submit both primary and secondary fixture specified and design for employer review and approval.
- To work on Platform/Concourse, contractor must require to fill up PTW (permit to work) form and submit it to CSS Shastri Park. Only after approval of PTW, contractor must carry out the work. Work on Platform must be carried out only in night during non-revenue hours only.
