The RITES Consortium has emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1) in the tender floated by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) for “Retrofit Work in RS-1 Trains. The total estimated value of the bid stands at approximately Rs. 87.58 crore (inclusive of GST), of which RITES share amounts to around 49%, equating to approximately Rs. 42.91 crore (inclusive of GST). The project is set to be executed over a period of 3 years.
