Shri Arun Arora, General Manager, Eastern Railway inspected Bhagalpur – Barharwa section of Malda Division, where he inspected major bridges, interacted with the gangmen, inspected points & crossings and level crossing gates, conducted speed trials and interacted with media persons.

- Principal Heads of the Departments from Headquarter along with Shri Vikas Chaube, Divisional Railway Manager, Malda and senior officers of Headquarter & Malda Division accompanied GM.
- At the outset, GM/ER inspected passenger amenity items at Sabour Station, LC Gate No. 10/C/T in between Sabaur & Lailakh Namlkha. He also inspected L/C Gate No. 8/C (E) in between Lailakh Namlkha & Ghoga. He further inspected Gang No.3, interacted with gangmen and expressed his satisfaction over their brilliant performance.
- Later, he inspected major bridge No. 138 near Ekchari station. Shri Arora undertook speed trials at a stretch of 21 km between Kahalgaon & Pirpainti and a stretch of 46 km between Sakrigali Jn. & Barharwa stations over Malda Division.
- At Sahibganj station, Shri Arun Arora, GM/ER inspected the station building, circulating area, passenger amenities and Jharna Railway Colony. He inaugurated the renovated Jharna Vihar Park at Jharna colony. GM also inspected one Station one Product Stall at Sahibganj station.
- GM/ER further inaugurated newly constructed Goods Siding at Sahibganj and newly commissioned goods siding at Karamtola and also flagged off the first loading rake from Sahibganj. He also interacted with media persons and briefed about the various ongoing infrastructural development work across Malda Division.
- GM/ER also inspected Barharwa Jn. station. At Barharwa, he conducted tower wagon inspection, visited station building & enquired about various passenger amenities available there.
- During the course of his inspection at various stations as well as the various spots, everywhere Shri Arora counselled the staff of Malda Division at different levels for rendering even better performance in Railway activities in order to provide improved train operations & passenger convenience.
