East Coast Railway General Manager Shri Roop Narayan Sunkar inspected Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Road- Kerejang Railway Section and reviewed various ongoing projects and infrastructural works in the region.

- Apart from this, Shri Sunkar inspected the traffic facility works to various Railway sidings of different industries like M/s Vedanta Ltd. siding at Brundamal, Bhusan Power & Steel Ltd. siding at Lapanga, M/s Aditya Aluminium Ltd. siding at Lapanga along with Freight examination facility with ROH facility at Sarla areas.
- The General Manager also inspected Sambalpur- Sambalpur City – Maneswar Doubling works of Talcher-Sambalpur Rail Line Doubling project.
- The Railway infrastructure projects in the region are vital to Gati Shakti which are being monitored directly by Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji.
- Shri Vaishnaw also advised Railway officials to take necessary steps for early completion of the ongoing projects so that train traffic will be hassle free.
- During the inspection General Manager was accompanied by Shri Vineet Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Sambalpur and other Senior officials from Head Quarter and Sambalpur Division.
