We are currently into multiple levels of discussions with various global players in Railway industry. Samtel has always had deep partnerships with international giants over the last 50 years. Starting with Mitsubishi (Japan), who helped us set up our consumer electronics plant we worked with Corning (USA), setting up a JV for a glass manufacturing plant in India. We have operated a German manufacturing unit in Ulm for many years where we manufactured high tech equipment for demanding applications for various industries. Late, we had a JV with Thales (France) for avionics products. We have also had a long-term contract with Honeywell (USA), where we were the sole-source worldwide for one of their key electronics products. Thus, we have always focused on spreading our wings globally and that Is what we intend to do in Railways as well.
