The 271st Executive Committee meeting of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority was held on 01st August, 2022, under the Chairmanship of Shri Manu Kumar Srivastava, Hon. Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra.
More details:
- During the meeting major focus was laid on expediting and providing necessary support to the ongoing infrastructure projects in Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Key approvals given during the meeting were as follows:
- Approval for Improvement of Road Infrastructure , Storm Water Drain, Road Furniture and other allied work from Kasheli Toll Plaza to Anjurphata along the alignment of Mumbai Metro Line – 5 on Thane-Bhiwandi – Wadapa Road (SSH84) (CA 138).
- Construction of Kasarwadvali and Bhayndarpada Solid Ramps on Ghodbunder Road as additional works under CA 54 in Thane City Limits. The contractor will carry out the construction on the basis of MCGM SOR (2018) Rate card.
- Interim EOT (Extension of Time) granted to the General Consultant of Metro line 4 & 4A till 28th February 2025. Monetary remuneration will be paid as per the terms of the contract.
- Extension has been granted to the G.C. of Metro Line 7 up to 31st December 2022 & for Metro Line 2B up to 30th June 2024 respectively &the cost increase shall be as per the contract clauses mentioned.
- Tender received for the construction of the Proposed DP road between Taloja MIDC to NH 4 (Old) Under Extd. MUIP‘ to be accepted & payment of the possible increase in price as per the actual work and to pay the bonus as per the terms and conditions of the contract.
- The appointment of General Consultant was approved for the Implementation of the Construction and System Work of both Metro Line-10 (Gaimukh – Shivaji Chowk (Mira Road)) and Metro Line 12 (Kalyan- Taloja).
