Hon’ble Minister of Railways, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw visits Odisha and inaugurates various train services

Hon’ble Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji visited Odisha o­n 30th June, 2022. During his visit, Shri Vaishnaw inspected various Railway Section and inaugurated / announced train services o­n 30th June, 2022.

  • Shri Vaishnaw inspected Khurda Road-Balangir Project and opened Mahipur-Naugaon Road Railway Section at Nuagaon Road Station. He also Flag off the Extension of 08429/08430 Bhubaneswar-Mahipur-Bhubaneswar Passenger Special up to Nuagaon Road from Nuagaon Road Station and announce New Train towards Puri and Stoppage of Sewa Express at Bolagarh PH.
  • In the evening, Shri Vaishnaw Inaugurate Khurda Road New Station Building and flag off of the LHB Services in Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Duronto Express from Khurda Road Station. Apart from this, the Railway Minister will inaugurate the New Building of Patia & Vani Vihar PH through video conferencing from Khurda Road Station.
  • Hon’ble Union Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Dharmendra Pradhan will also grace the occasion at Khurda Road Station.
  • Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Loksabha) Shri Achyutananda Samanta, Hon’ble MLAs Shri Rajendra Kumar Sahoo & Shri Ramesh Chandra Behera will grace the occasion at Nuagaon Road Station.
  • Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Loksabha) Smt. Aparajita Sarangi, Hon’ble MLAs Shri Suresh Kumar Routray & Susant Kumar Rout will grace the occasion at Khurda Road Station.
  • Shri Vaishnaw also inspected passenger facilities and opened various public amenities for Rath Yatra at Puri Station in the late evening. This include, Special train for Rath Yatra pilgrims, Covered Shelter for 15000 pilgrims, Executive Lounge, Mobile Ticketing facilities, Battery operated cart facilities for elderly/differently abled persons, Food Court and Free food for needy people.
