Hon’ble Minister of State of Railways-Shri Raosaheb Patil Danve flags off inaugural service of H.S Nanded-Pune daily express from Jalna

Shri Raosaheb Patil Danve, Hon’ble Minister of State of Railways, Coal & Mines flagged off the inaugural service of Train No. 17630 H.S Nanded–Pune Daily Express service on 04th July, 2022 at Jalna Railway station in the presence of Public representatives and Senior Railway Officials.

Speaking o­n the occasion, Shri Raosaheb Patil Danve stated that today is an important day for the people of Marathwada and people are witnessing a New India and New Railways with an aim to increase connectivity. This train will facilitate the socio-economic development of the region.The H.S Nanded – Pune Daily express will cater to the needs of the people of Marathwada region and provides convenient and affordable train journeys to all.

Further, the Hon’ble Minister of State of Railways stated that there is a large volume of commuter movement towards western directions like Pune and Mumbai from Marathwada. He said that the extension of this train service will benefit more passengers and will help to connect Marathwada region with the industrial/educational hub and the second largest city of Maharashtra State. The extension from Bi-weekly to Daily service will also meet the aspirations of the people in the region and provide enhanced connectivity between two places.

Salient features of Nanded–Pune Express:

  • Convenient evening / night journey timings to reach Pune in the early hours.
  • Cost effective transportation compared to other modes of transport.
  • Covers around 650 kms in 14 hrs with stoppages at 11 stations.
  • The train has been inducted with state-of-the-art LHB coaches, which will offer a comfortable journey experience to the passengers.
  • With a view to provide safe and secure travel to the passengers, CCTV cameras have been installed both inside and at the entry of the coaches which will help in keeping an eye o­n entry of unauthorized persons.
  • The train with different coach composition caters the needs of all segments of the traveling public.
  • These trains will consist of one First AC, o­ne AC II Tier, four AC III Tier, five Sleeper class, two General Second Class, o­ne Second class Luggage cum Brake Van coaches and o­ne power car totaling to 15 coaches.
