Testo India recently participated in the 5th RAIL & METRO TECHNOLOGY CONCLAVE 2024 held at New Delhi. It was a wonderful association and successful event that brought together the right mix of delegates across India dedicated for the improvement and development of our rail and metro industry. A wonderful platform to display our test and measurement solutions for the railway application and we also had an opportunity to discuss the existing problems and the corresponding solutions in the parameter measurements during various operations.

Testo India has introduced various precise condition monitoring instruments in Indian Railway sector for the predictive maintenance of various infrastructure & assets. SMART Thermal Imagers & electrical instruments are being regularly used by the TRD dept. and electrical dept of Indian Railways staff for troubleshooting as well as inspection of traction lines, traction sub-stations and various electrical, signalling and telecom equipment to avoid major break-down & detect the possible faults early before they lead to major failure.
The SMART portable instruments are introduced for monitoring of various important parameters like temperature, RPM, Sound, and climate monitoring instruments in various functions and for various equipment such as rolling stock, coaching, traction lines, Railway workshops, car shed, diesel loco sheds etc.
Testo has also introduced Flue Gas Analyser in Indian Railway for the Diesel loco-shed for monitoring of the engine emission parameters and to set right the engine efficiency. Testo is committed to introduce newer technologies in Indian Railway in the years to come.
