In order to accelerate the Bullet Train project, IRCON has awarded a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to M/s Premnath Engineering Works for the contract involving the Track Slab Laying Car for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project. This contract is a crucial step forward, ensuring the timely and efficient installation of track slabs, which are vital for the high-speed rail infrastructure.

- Name of Work: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 02 no. track slab laying car for MAHSR-T2 project.
- Completion Period for the Contract is: 240 Days
- The Awarded Value of the Tender is: Rs. 15,29,28,000/-
Scope of Work for the Contractor:
- To supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 02 (two) nos. of Track Slab Laying Car including packing, loading, transporting on Cost, Insurance & Freight basis (CIF) at Place of delivery.
- The scope of supply also includes all the concomitant accessories/ equipment including Engine Generator as detailed in specification and other concomitant accessories/ equipment, which the manufacturer considers essential to make the machine/ equipment fully operational.
- The Bidder shall commission the machine/ equipment at the place of Delivery within 30 days from the date of written notice/intimation from IRCON.
- The intimation shall be given to the contractor any time after receipt of m/c within a period of 60 days.
- The bidder or his agent will be required to inspect the consignment at the consignee’s premises before unpacking is done and carry out a Joint Check of the receipt of components to avoid subsequent complaints regarding short shipment or transit.
- The bidder shall offer complete commissioning of Machine/ equipment on a turnkey basis.
- The contractor shall impart training to 6 (six) persons (3 persons per machine) nominated by IRCON for a period of 6 (six) working days on operation and maintenance of the machine/ equipment or any other aspect of works, to the extent specified by IRCON at project site nominated by IRCON.
