IRCON International Limited (IRCON) has invited online bid in Two Packet System on prescribed forms from bonafide firms/companies having requisite experience and financial capacity for execution of the work given below.

Scope of Work:

The scope of work is to Supply, Erection, Testing, Commissioning & Earthing and other Associated Work of 220kV/33kV/25kVRSS/AMS/TSS at Ghaziabad for Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor of NCRTC (Package 19 – Lot 1) as given hereunder

Scope for Supply of Electrical Equipments:

The scope of work for supply shall include but not limited to the following:

  • The contractor is responsible for submission of GTP & drawings from proposed OEM and get is approved from IRCON & NCRTC/GC for procurement of material.
  • Preparation and submission of Cable schedule for approval
  • Supply of 1 Pole Primary Neutral Isolator for (PNISO) for 220/33kV Auxiliary Transformer including terminal connectors in line with the GTP & technical specifications.
  • Supply of Primary Neutral LA (PNLA) for 220/33kV Auxiliary Transformer including terminal connectors in line with the GTP & technical specifications.
  • Supply of Primary Neutral CT (PNCT) for 220/33kV Auxiliary Transformer including terminal connectors in line with the GTP & technical specifications.
  • Supply of Composite NGR {Neutral Grounding Resistor) unit mainly comprising of 1 Nos NGR, 1 NOS Secondary Neutral Isolator, 2 Nos SNCT & 1 Nos SNLA.
  • Supply of Fabricated Steel Structure (for support structure of equipments and cable brackets inside the trench for laying of cables).
  • Supply of Porcelain Insulators for 220kV, 33kV & 25kV voltage level of switchyard.
  • Supply of AC Distribution Board with Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) as per GTP & technical specifications.
  • Supply of 50mm & 65 mm Aluminium Tube for bus bar connections.
  • Supply of Control Cables of different sizes as per specifications.
  • Supply of Yard Lightning cum lighting system with all accessories as per technical specifications.
  • Supply of GI Cable Trays with and without cover (as required).
  • Channels, Angles, Cable Cleat etc. and other items & accessories required for the completion of the completion of work.

Note: No material shall be directly delivered to the site by the Contractor without performing the Factory Acceptance Test at the works/plant of OEM in the presence of IRCON & NCRTC/GC.

Scope for Erection, Testing & Commissioning of Rss/Ams/Tss:

Scope of Erection, Testing & Commissioning of the work shall include but not limited to the following:

Receiving Substation:

  • Incoming Bays:
    • Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all Switchgear (including SF-6 Gas filling), Measurement Transformers, lighting Arresters, Bus bars, Jumpers, Post Insulators, Steel Structures including all men, machine, tools and any other component or material required to make the installation complete and operable.
  • Traction Transformer Outgoing Bays:
    • Erection (fixing of all accessories viz. Conservator, Radiators, Breathers, Buchhloz Relay, Bushings, Nitrogen Fire Protection System (NIFPS) etc), Testing & Commissioning of Traction Transformers including, oil Filtration & Filling including all men, machines & tools and Testing & Commissioning.
    • Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all Switchgear, (including SF-6 Gas filling), Measurement Transformers, lighting Arresters, Bus bars, Jumpers, Post Insulators, Steel Structures including all men, machine, tools and any other component or material required to make the installation complete and operable.
  • Auxiliary Main Transformer Outgoing Bays:
    • Erection (fixing of all accessories viz. Conservator, Radiators, Breathers, Buchhloz Relay, Bushings, Nitrogen Fire Protection System (NIFPS) etc) , Testing & Commissioning of Auxiliary Main Transformer including oil Filtration & Filling and Erection of Neutral Grounding Resistor (NGR) along with necessary Switchgear & Instrument transformer including all men, machines & tools and Testing & Commissioning.
    • Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all Switchgear, (including SF-6 Gas filling), Measurement Transformers, lighting Arresters, Bus bars, Jumpers, Post Insulators, Steel Structures including all men, machine, tools and any other component or material required to make the installation complete and operable.
  • Coupling Bays:
    • Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all Switchgear, (including SF-6 Gas filling), Measurement Transformers, Bus bars, Jumpers, Post Insulators, Steel Structures including all men, machine, tools and any other component or material required to make the installation complete and operable.

About Delhi-Meerut RRTS Corridor:

  • The Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor is approximately 82 km long corridor with 25 stations, which will cover the distance from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi to Modipuram in Meerut in about 60 minutes (Currently, it takes around 3 hours to commute from Delhi to Meerut).
  • The total project completion cost of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor is about INR 30274 Crore.
  • RRTS is a rail based high-speed transit system with a design speed of 180 kmph and an average speed of 100 kmph.
  • Once operational, it will be the fastest, most comfortable and safest mode of commuter transport in NCR.

Project Status:

The Project was sanctioned by the Government of India in March 2019. On 8th March 2019, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India laid the Foundation Stone of India’s first regional rail.

The details of current status of this corridor is provided below:-

  • The construction of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor is progressing on schedule.
  • Contracts for all the major packages have been awarded and the prototype RRTS trainset is expected to be delivered by Dec’2021.
  • Project work for priority section of Duhai to Sahibabad of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor is progressing on schedule with following developments:
    • Construction of civil infrastructure including piles, pile caps, piers, viaduct and station work is on full swing.
    • Construction of RSS at Muradnagar has started for feeding the priority section including Duhai Depotc.
    • Land for Duhai Depot has already been acquired and depot infrastructure construction has started.
    • Contract has been awarded for most of the system packages like Rolling Stock, Signalling & Telecom, Track, Traction and OHE etc.
    • Possession of Land allotted by Government of India for stabling yard in Delhi.
