IRCON invites bids for Electrical works for Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS Corridor

IRCON International Limited has invited online bids in the Two Packet System on prescribed forms from bonafide firms/companies having requisite experience and financial capacity for execution of the work detailed in the table given below.

Scope of Work:

The scope of work is to Supply, Erection, Testing, Commissioning & Earthing and other Associated Work of 220kV/33kV/25kVRSS/AMS/TSS at Murad Nagar for Delhi – Ghaziabad – Meerut RRTS Corridor of NCRTC (Package 19 – Lot 2) as given hereunder

Scope for Supply of Electrical Equipments:

The scope of work for supply shall include but not limited to the following:

  • The contractor is responsible for submission of GTP & drawings from proposed OEM and get is approved from IRCON & NCRTC/GC for procurement of material.
  • Preparation and submission of Cable schedule for approval
  • Supply of Fabricated Steel Structure (for support structure of equipments and cable brackets inside the trench for laying of cables)
  • Supply of 50mm & 65 mm Aluminium Tube for bus bar connections
  • Supply of Yard Lightning cum lighting system with all accessories as per technical specifications
  • Supply of GI Cable Trays with and without cover (as required).
  • Channels, Angles, Cable Cleat etc. and other items & accessories required for the completion of the completion of work.

Note: No material shall be directly delivered to the site by the Contractor without performing the Factory Acceptance Test at the works/plant of OEM in the presence of IRCON & NCRTC/GC.

Scope for Erection, Testing & Commissioning of RSS/AMS/TSS:

Scope of Erection, Testing & Commissioning of the work shall include but not limited to the following:

  • Receiving Substation:
    • Incoming Bays: Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all Switchgear (including SF-6 Gas filling), Measurement Transformers, lighting Arresters, Bus bars, Jumpers, Post Insulators, Steel Structures including all men, machine, tools and any other component or material required to make the installation complete and operable.
    • Traction Transformer Outgoing Bays: Erection (fixing of all accessories viz. Conservator, Radiators, Breathers, Buchhloz Relay, Bushings, Nitrogen Fire Protection System (NIFPS) etc), Testing & Commissioning of Traction Transformers including, oil Filtration & Filling including all men, machines & tools and Testing & Commissioning. Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all Switchgear, (including SF-6 Gas filling), Measurement Transformers, lighting Arresters, Bus bars, Jumpers, Post Insulators, Steel Structures including all men, machine, tools and any other component or material required to make the installation complete and operable.
    • Auxiliary Main Transformer Outgoing Bays: Erection (fixing of all accessories viz. Conservator, Radiators, Breathers, Buchhloz Relay, Bushings, Nitrogen Fire Protection System (NIFPS) etc), Testing & Commissioning of Auxiliary Main Transformer including oil Filtration & Filling and Erection of Neutral Grounding Resistor (NGR) along with necessary Switchgear & Instrument transformer including all men, machines & tools and Testing & Commissioning. Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all Switchgear, (including SF-6 Gas filling), Measurement Transformers, lighting Arresters, Bus bars, Jumpers, Post Insulators, Steel Structures including all men, machine, tools and any other component or material required to make the installation complete and operable.
    • Coupling Bays: Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all Switchgear, (including SF-6 Gas filling), Measurement Transformers,Bus bars, Jumpers, Post Insulators, Steel Structures including all men, machine, tools and any other component or material required to make the installation complete and operable.
  • Auxiliary Main Sub-Station:
    • Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all equipments in AMS room including:
      • 33 KV indoor Switchgear panels (GIS), fixing of base frame. Inter-panel wiring and associated cabling from AMS transformer to 33 KV Switchgear panels.
      • 33 KV /415 V dry type station transformers.
      • All other equipments in the AMS room, such as Low Voltage Distribution Board complete with incoming feeders and breakers, Battery chargers cum DCDB, AC and DC distribution Boards etc.
  • Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all equipments in Battery Room including:
    • Two nos. Battery Bank for Battery Charger cum DCDB as per drawing.
  • Traction Sub-Station:
    • Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all 25 KV Switchgear (GIS), Measurement Transformers, lighting Arresters, Bus bars, Jumpers, Post Insulators, Steel Structures including all men, machine, tools and any other component or material required to make the installation complete and operable.
  • Erection Inside Control Room:
    • Erection, of all equipments (220kV, 33kV & 25kV Control & Relay panels, UPS System, Plasma Screen, Workstation, etc.) in the control room as necessary to enable the protection, control and monitoring of all HV /33KV/ 25KV equipments, from bay level/control room/operations control centers. Make the system complete in all respect except testing of IEDs which will be done by SAS vendor. However, contractor to extend all support for Testing and commissioning.
  • Cabling:
    • Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all 220kV, 33kV and 25 KV cables inside respective RSS premises.
    • Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all 33 KV and 3.3kV cabling in the AMS & RSS.
    • Erection, Testing & Commissioning all 25 KV cables required inside the TSS including those from the Traction.
    • Transformer to 25 KV switchgear.
    • Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all traction return current cables between Traction Transformer secondary and the buried rail.
    • Erection, Testing & Commissioning of all LV and control cables.
    • Termination work of EHV cables shall be done by Termination Kit Vendor. However, contractor to extend all support for termination work of EHV cables.
    • Any other related work.
  • Earthing:
    • IRCON has engaged the different sub-contractor for Supply & laying of Earth mat in the main Sub-Station. The subcontractor engaged by IRCON shall leave the riser upto ground level for further extension and connection with the equipments by the Erection, Testing &Commissioning (ETC)Contractor ofIRCON. 
    • Further Supply of Earthing flats, Rods, Risers and all related material to connect the riser and complete the earthing shall be in the scope of ETC Contractor.
    • The bidder is required to Supply, erection, Testing and commissioning of spikes, GI Flat, Fasteners, with all accessories to complete Control Room & Building Earthing.
    • Mat Test link etc as per drawing.
    • “Return Current Earthing system of Traction Power” as per drawing.
    • Any other related work to complete the earthing in RSS/AMS/TSS.
  • Yard Lighting:
    • Supply, Installation Testing & Commissioning of Yard lighting system as per standard practice of IRCON/NCRTC. Light fixtures, DBs, Cables will be supplied by Erection, Testing &Commissioning Contractor.
  • Other Works:
  • The scope of work also covers the unpacking of equipments, cables from cable drums and other materials. All empty Cable/Oil drums, wooden, metallic material shall be the property of IRCON. Contractor shall handover the same to IRCON.
  • All panels viz. 220kV GIS bays, 33kV GIS &25kV GIS bays, Control & Relay Panels, ACDB, DCDB, Battery Chargers, UPS etc. after erection shall be tag welded with base frame channels as per direction of IRCON/NCRTC/GC.
  • Erection of GIS Bays shall also include necessary tools and tackle required, Silent & reliable Power supply to operate 5T EOT crane, DILO Machine etc. to complete the work in all respect.
  • Silent & reliable Power Supply to complete all the works like welding cutting etc including separate dedicated source for charging of battery banks.
  • All support in EIG approval related to earth pit values, jumper tightness, cleanliness of all structures & equipment’s, earth pit chambers, proper painting of earth pit values with dates on each earth pit chamber wall or earth pit markers, Buried rail markers, painting of all equipments for clear identification of phases, nomenclature on indoor & outdoor equipments etc. Loading, Unloading & Shifting of equipment/any re-work to make the system fully functional shall be the scope of contractor.
  • During DLP, all works related to replacement/repair of any equipment viz. burning of clamps/connectors, circuit breakers, alignment of Isolators, wiring problems, yard light replacement etc. shall be in the scope of contractor.
  • Any other work required to make the system fully functional.
