In order to boost railway connectivity, the K2 Infragen, a leading infrastructure development company, has been awarded a INR 33.41 crore contract by North Western Railway (NWR) for the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of high-rise Overhead Equipment (OHE) for the Rewari-Kathuwas doubling project.
Background:
- This tender was secured by M/s Leena-Arnoo and will be executed by K2 Infragen. As part of the Rewari-Kathuwas doubling initiative by the Jaipur Division of NWR, K2 Infragen will work to deliver critical infrastructure upgrades.
- With this order the company’s current order book stands at INR 477.14 crore. The project is scheduled for completion within 15 months and is expected to be completed by October 30, 2025.
- This project is a pivotal step in advancing rail infrastructure in the Jaipur division, contributing to NWR’s broader objectives of expanding network connectivity and modernising existing facilities.
