The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) on 26.06.2020 opened financial package of tender ‘KNPAGRS-01’ for supply of 201 No. standard gauge cars including train control & signalling system for Kanpur & Agra metro project.
Based on general and technical evaluations of bids submitted on 18-02-2020 for tender KNPAGRS-01 for ‘Design, manufacture, supply, testing, commissioning and training of 201 No. standard gauge cars including train control & signalling system for Kanpur & Agra metro project’, following three (03) bidders have qualified for opening of their Financial package in accordance with provisions of the tender document:
- M/s. BEML Limited
- Consortium of M/s. Alstom Transport India Limited and M/s. Alston) Transport S.A.
- Consortium of M/s. Bombardier Transportation India Private Limited and M/s. Bombardier Transportation GmbH
On 05.12.2019, the UPMRC invited tenders on international competitive bidding (ICB) basis for the design, manufacture, supply, testing, commissioning and training of 201 nos. standard gauge cars including Train Control & Signalling System for Agra & Kanpur Metro Project.
A pre-bid meeting was held on 25th December 2019. A total 7 companies participated in the pre bid meeting which include:
