Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) is observing the National Safety Week, 2018 from 4th March, 2018 to 10th March, 2018. In this connection, all LMRC officers and staff today participated in a safety ‘pledge’ in order to undertake their work in a ‘safe’ manner at the project and the operations site.
Lucknow Metro has planned to organize many events such as providing training on heavy lifting/material handling, quiz competition at office, depot and different Metro sites, behavior based safety training for LMRC engineers by external agency etc. throughout the week from 04.03.2018 to 10.03.2018. These events shall reinforce the priority of ‘safety’ in every walks of life.
LMRC observes National Safety Week every year to sensitize its officers and staff on the importance of safety so that each and every officer of Lucknow Metro can take safety as their ‘First Priority’. These kind of events also help to create awareness and a sense of responsibility among themselves.
