Officials from Maha Metro’s lending agencies – AFD France & KFW Germany are on two-day visit to review the work progress of Nagpur Metro Rail Project.
- The team of officials nominated by the two banks visited on 14th March 2022 with a detailed discussion on progress of the project with Maha Metro MD Dr Brijesh Dixit.
- Dr Dixit briefed the officials about the physical and financial progress of the project during the meeting.
- The main purpose of the visit is to review various aspects of the ongoing project work like – technical, financial etc.
- The team of officials also reviewed the ongoing and completed project work in Reach-II and Reach-IV of Maha Metro Nagpur and expressed satisfaction about the project work.
- Among those in the delegation included Ms Swati Khanna, Senior Sector Expert (Delhi Office), Shri Philipp Wyrsch, Cell Head Urban Development and Ms Patricia Immler, Senior Portfolio Manager – all from KFW Germany and Shri Rajnish Ahuja, Sector Portfolio Manager – Urban Transport, AFD Delhi Office. Senior officials from Maha Metro including Shri Mahesh Kumar, Director (Project), Shri Sunil Mathur, Director (Rolling Stock & System), Shri Anil Kokate, Director (Strategic Planning) were present during the meeting with the KFW and AFD officials
