National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is making steady progress on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor. Recently, they completed a significant milestone with the construction of a 40-metre long bridge over the Gorwa – Madhu nagar Flyover in Vadodara. The newly constructed bridge is a testament to the engineering excellence and meticulous planning that characterise the project, promising enhanced connectivity and faster transit times upon its completion.
Brief about Newly Constructed Bridge:
- Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train corridor is crossing over Gorwa – Madhu nagar Flyover in Vadodara through elevated viaduct
- The flyover is located at a distance of approx. 4 kms from Vadodara Bullet Train station towards Ahmedabad
- With meticulous planning and precision of execution, the launching over the flyover was completed within the block period of 10 days
- All necessary safety precautions like hard barricading, traffic diversion signages, route diversion information publication, sufficient traffic marshals and lighting in night time etc. were taken into consideration during the launching process in presence of Traffic Police, Vadodara City
