Key Information of the Recent Work:
- Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train corridor is crossing over National Highway 48 between Delhi & Chennai (passing through Gujarat & Maharashtra) at Amadpore village, Navsari district, Gujarat through elevated viaduct.
- This 260 metre long bridge is the First PSC Balanced Cantilever bridge completed over the highway by SBS (Span by Span) method.
- The bridge comprises 104 segments with four spans of configuration 50m + 80m + 80m + 50m.
- The bridge is located between Surat and Bilimora Bullet Train station.
- Since, NH 48 is one of the busiest highways in the country, the launching over the highway was completed with meticulous planning and precision of execution.
