RailTel bags Rs. 30 crore contracts from Northern Railway for telecom and DFC feeder projects

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has recently been awarded two contracts from Northern Railway, enhancing its portfolio of railway infrastructure projects. The contracts, valued at approximately Rs. 30 crore, are aimed at bolstering railway communication and safety along critical routes.

Contract Details:

  • The first contract is for the Railway Telecom Project, worth Rs. 10.92 crore. This project involves enhancing communication infrastructure, which is crucial for railway operations. The project must be completed by September 4, 2025.
  • The second contract, valued at Rs. 19.69 crore, involves the Provision of Double Distant signalling on Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) feeder routes across Lucknow Division. The contract covers key routes like AMG-UTRZBDSOP, ZBD-JNU(EX), ABP(EX)-TD, and UCRPFM, with a completion deadline of September 11, 2026.
