Scope of Work:

  • The scope of work shall broadly cover survey, investigations, design and Major Upgradation of Railway Station including but not limited to undertaking civil works and MEP works for station building. The brief particulars of the Project, bidding process and the Estimated Project Cost is provided in Clause 1.1.2 of this RFP.
  • The Contractor shall undertake all necessary superintendence to plan, arrange, direct, manage, inspect and test the Works.
  • The Contractor shall be liable for complete designing of the Project and the Project Facilities and all allied utilities.
  • The Contractor shall maintain required staff and necessary Contractor’s equipment and materials within the reach of the Site during the Defects Liability Period so that any defects arising are promptly attended.
  • The Contractor shall design the overall Project on Net Zero Energy Building (NZEB) concept, as far as practically possible.
  • The Contractor shall obtain certification for the project under either the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Green Building Rating System™, USA or under the IGBC rating system. The Contractor shall obtain the[Gold] level of certification.

  • The Contractor shall bear full risk in and take full responsibility for the care of Works, and of Materials, goods and equipment for incorporation therein, on and from the Appointed Date and until the date of Provisional Certificate, with respect to the Works completed prior to the issuance of the Provisional Certificate and/or Completion Certificate, with respect to the Works referred to in the Punch List, save and except to the extent that any such loss or damage shall have arisen from any default or neglect of the Authority.

Eligibility:

  • Technical Capacity For demonstrating Technical Capacity and experience (the “Technical Capacity”), the Bidder shall, over the past 5 (five) Financial Years preceding the Bid Due Date, received payments for construction of Eligible Project(s) such that the amount is at least;
    • 60% (sixty percent) of Estimated Project Cost from One Eligible Project,

OR

    • 40% (forty percent) of Estimated Project Cost from each of the Two Eligible Projects

OR

    • 30% (thirty percent) of Estimated Project Cost from each of the Three Eligible Projects
