Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M/s United Construction Limited of Israel. This partnership aims to jointly pursue projects in various sectors, including Railways, MRTS, tunnels, highways, expressways, bridges, building works, airports, ports, irrigation, power transmission and distribution, as well as the solar and wind energy sectors in Israel. This collaboration is set to enhance infrastructure development and technological exchange between the two companies.
Some Recent Achievements of RVNL in this Month:
- Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) achieved a milestone with the completion of the 170-metre long diaphragm wall (D-Wall) for the Victoria Metro Station on the Kolkata Metro’s Purple Line. This critical infrastructure development is part of the larger project extending from Mominpur to Esplanade. The Victoria Metro Station is poised to become a major hub, serving as a gateway to the Maidan area of Kolkata. This accomplishment underscores RVNL’s commitment to enhancing urban connectivity and advancing the Kolkata Metro network’s expansion, ultimately improving transit efficiency and accessibility for the city’s residents. - The Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) to jointly explore rail and transportation systems. One with M/s IMS Consultancy to help RVNL for projects in the field of Railways, MRTS, Tunnels etc. and the other with M/s TATWEER to collaborate in Rail based work in MENA Region and European Countries.
