Scope of work:
Construction of Roadbed, Major and Minor Bridges and track linking (excluding supply of Rails and Sleepers), Service Building, Quarters, FOB, LC works including S & T works (Indoor and Outdoor works at Stations and block sections), General Electrical works & ROB in connection with Railway Doubling line between Majorda (including) at Km 91.500 to Vasco Da Gama (including) Km 108.52 of Hosapete – Vasco-Da-Gama doubling project of South western Railway in South Goa district in Goa State. The project envisages provision of 2nd line between MAJORDA – VASCO DA GAMA stations (approximately 17.02 kms)
Tender for Indoor signaling, other allied works will be invited separately and supervision of such works are also included in the scope of PMC.

Preference to Make in India:
The provisions of revised ‘Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order 2017’ issued by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion under Ministry of Commerce and Industry vide letter no. P-45021/2/2017-PP (BE-II) dated 28.05.2018 shall be applicable to the bidding process and award of the contract shall be done accordingly. In this connection, the minimum local content shall be 50.% and the margin of purchase preference shall be 20%. For award of contract, para 3.c. of the revised ‘Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order 2017’ shall be applicable in addition to the other provisions in the bidding documents in this regard.
