Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Malaysian-based company, Dhaya Maju Infrastructure (Asia) Sdn Berhad (DMIA) for tapping the railway infrastructure and service projects in the ASEAN market. The key focus of the MoU is to establish a manufacturing base in Malaysia for railway coaches and other railway products to cater to the growing needs of ASEAN countries.
Objectives of the MoU:
- Collaboration Scope: The MOU details the terms for RVNL and DMIA to jointly engage in railway projects across the ASEAN market and beyond.

The MoU was signed between General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Mohd Azumi Bin Mohamed (Rtd.) Group Chairman, Dhaya Maju Infrastructure (Asia) Sdn Berhad (DMIA) and Shri Pradeep Gaur, CMD, RVNL and got exchanged in presence of YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Hon’ble Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry, Malaysia and Dato’ Muzafar Shah Mustafa, Hon’ble High Commissioner of Malaysia (India).
