Shri Vinay Kumar Tripathi takes over the charge of new Chairman & CEO of Railway Board. Shri Tripathi has wide experience of Railway management & administration.
- He is presently posted as General Manager, North Eastern Railway.
- Prior to this, He was posted as Additional Member/Traction in Railway Board, New Delhi.
- Shri Tripathi did B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) from Roorkee and joined railways through Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) batch of 1983.
- In his distinguished career, Shri Tripathi has successfully discharged the duties of the various important posts of Electrical Department on Northern, Central & Western Railway as well as held the key posts of Divisional Railway Manager, Allahabad, North Central Railway, Chief Electrical Locomotive Engineer & Additional General Manager of Western Railway.
