He brings with him rich and diverse experience of more than 32 years across various business verticals.

Shri Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi, 56, has been inducted as Director (Finance) on the Board of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) w.e.f. 19.06.2024. Prior to this, he was General Manager & Head – Corporate Finance in BHEL. He is a distinguished Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Experience:
Shri Dwivedi brings with him rich and diverse experience of more than 32 years across various verticals encompassing Business Strategies, Manufacturing and Project construction in Power Sector along with Board level exposure of holding additional charge of Director (Finance) in Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited, Ranchi since September 2022, where he ensured partial resumption of the stalled operations and release of overdue employees benefits partially.
- He has demonstrated his leadership in the areas of operations while heading finance functions at major units of BHEL.
- He also exhibited his consistent target-oriented approach and steered through tough times of the company by directing the operations towards augmenting its top line as well as bottom line.
- He has been instrumental in ideation of new concepts like Central Procurement Cell, New Business Models, Innovative Ordering Strategies etc. which has already started reaping benefits for the company.
- His continuous focus on cost leadership through budgetary & cost controls and strong customer engagement led to strengthening of BHEL finances as well as instilled confidence in the stakeholders of the company.
- His clear vision and strong conviction coupled with sound business acumen and financial prudence played an important role in uplifting the level of operations of the company.
- He has been instrumental in promoting the cost management profession in the country through his active association at all levels of his Mother Institution i.e. The Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
