Bangalore Metro and Delta Electronics India forge partnership for metro station naming rights

In a strategic move towards sustainable urban development, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has signed a MoU with Delta Electronics India Pvt. Ltd., securing the station naming rights for Bommasandra Metro Station.

More Details:

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) and Delta Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding. In which Delta Electronics is funding to the extent of Rs. 65 Crores for which they have already submitted Rs. 10 Crores, as part of Innovative Financing Mechanism for the construction of Bommasandra Metro Station on the Yellow Line of RV Road to Bommasandra (Reach-5 line) under Phase-II of the Bangalore Metro Rail Project.

About MoU:

  • As per agreement, BMRCL will be offering Naming Rights of Bommasandra Metro Station for a period of 30 years with the approval of Government of Karnataka as ‘Delta Electronics – Bommasandra Metro Station’.
  • This is the 3rd MoU signed in this Yellow Line after entering into agreements with M/s Infosys Foundation for Konnappana Agrahara Metro Station and M/s Biocon Foundation for Hebbagodi Metro Station.
