Shri Amar Prakash Dwivedi, General Manager of Eastern Railway inspected various stations over Godda-Hansdiha, Hansdiha-Bhagalpur and Bhagalpur-Sahibganj sections in Malda Division along with other officials.

- Shri Amar Prakash Dwivedi, General Manager of Eastern Railway inspected various stations over Godda-Hansdiha, Hansdiha-Bhagalpur and Bhagalpur-Sahibganj sections in Malda Division along with the concerned Principal Heads of Departments of Headquarters. Shri Vikash Chaube, Divisional Railway Manager/Malda and other Divisional Officers of Malda Division also accompanied the General Manager during the inspection.
- In the morning, he inspected the Goods shed and station area of Godda to check overall development at this station. At Godda, he visited the Power Plant of Adani Power and held meetings with officials to induce more and more originating freight revenue for Eastern Railway.
- Afterwards the General Manager conducted a window trailing inspection over Godda – Hansdiha and Hansdiha-Bhagalpur sections wherein the track and its surrounding installations like signals, Overhead Equipment and different safety gears were inspected.
- During the inspection, important parameters like riding quality of the train-especially on points and crossings, condition of level crossing gates en-route etc. were observed by the General Manager. He also inaugurated an OHE Inspection Car at Hansdiha station.
- At Bhagalpur, Shri Dwivedi also inspected various passenger amenities and facilities, condition of safety gears, cleanliness and briefed media people about various development initiatives taken by Railways. He also launched “Rolling Block Planning and Monitoring System” Mobile APP and Web APP for more operational flexibility.
- After arriving for inspection at Kahalgaon, he visited the Kahalgaon Thermal Power Plant where he held an interactive meeting with the officials of NTPC & ECL to induce more freight traffic for transport through the Railway route.
- Later, the General Manager arrived at Sahibganj by conducting Window Trailing Inspection from Kahalgaon to Sahibganj and inspected various facilities and amenities at Sahibganj. Shri Dwivedi also interacted with the field staff at Sahibganj.
