Scope of Work:
The scope of work briefly comprises as under but not limited to the following:
- Preliminary/Walkover Survey for finalization of most economical and optimum route and digitization of the route map showing Topographical and other features and identification of the final selected route alignment, soil resistivity, measurement, tree enumeration and submission of reports as per format and scope mentioned in Technical Specification.
- Detailed Survey using GPS, Total Work Station, Digital theodolite / ALTM including profiling, Tower spotting & optimization of locations using computer aided techniques as well as other activities as per the scope mentioned in Technical Specification.
- Check Survey and Optimization of Tower Location, if required:
- Verification / review of the line route, tower spotting data, and foundation type of original reconnaissance survey, as required, after completion of Preliminary Survey & Detailed Survey. The Contractor shall carry out any such modifications to the detailed survey conducted as and where required.
Under the Check Survey following activities are included in the scope of this contract:
- Review and verification of tower spotting data of original Detailed Survey reports and optimization of tower locations.
- Preparation of final route profile, tower schedule, tower plotting data etc after Check Survey.
- Locating and peg marking the tower positions on ground conforming to the approved profile and tower schedule.
- Review of soil testing data and review of tower foundation types required for each tower locations.
- Preparation and submission of final line profiles, sag template, tower schedules, tower spotting data, foundation types etc. for approval of Employer. All Calculation/ Design/ Drawing/ Schedules/ Data/ Profiles/ GTP/ Drawings/ Type Test Report/ QAP/
- Methodology/Vendor etc. as required for successful completion of the work under the contract, shall be prepared and submitted by the Contractor and to be approved by AEGCL and IRCON/NFR Authority before starting the execution work. After approval two set of hard copy and one set soft copy must be handed over to AEGCL and IRCON/NFR.
- It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to Follow up/liaison with the concerned field representative of AEGCL to get all Calculation/ Design/ Drawing/ Schedules/ Data/ Profiles/ GTP/ Drawings/ Type Test Report/ QAP/ Methodology/Vendor etc. as relevant to the work under the contract, verified by concerned field representative of AEGCL and be Approved by the Competent Authority of HQ/AEGCL before being submitted to IRCON/NFR for final approval.
- Fabrication & supply of all type 132 kV transmission line towers suitable for Double Circuit, gantry structures and tower material as per the design and drawing approved by the Employer including bolts, nuts, washers, hangers, shackles and all type of tower accessories like phase plates, number plates, danger plates, anticlimbing devices.
- Supply of 132kV cable, bonding cable, termination kit, link box, conductor, earth wire, hardware fittings, conductor & earth wire accessories etc, as required.
- Casting of foundations for towers, gantry structures, mounting structures etc.
- Erection of towers, tack welding of bolts and nuts including supply and application of zinc rich primer & enamel paint, painting of towers for aviation requirements (if required).
- Laying of UG cable using trenchless digging method/through trench along with termination, as required, using any one or a combination of following methods:
- Trenchless digging (HDD using HDPE PLB duct) including testing and commissioning complete.(There will be 3 (three) cables – two cables for two phases & one cables as spare).
- Laying of cables underground through trench with cover (There will be 3 (three) cables – two cables for two phases & one cables as spare).
- Supply & providing tower earthing, supply & fixing insulators, insulator strings.
- Supply & Stringing of conductor & earth wire along with all necessary line accessories.
- Testing & Commissioning of the erected transmission lines.
