RVNL is executing three Metro Corridors in the city of Kolkata to augment the existing metro network in the city.
Mominpur is an elevated corridor portion of Joka-BBD bag Corridor. New Garia-Airport Corridor connects the southern sub-urban area to the Airport.
Scope of Work:
The Contractor shall be required to interface closely with the Detail Design Consultants appointed by the Employer and Designated Contractors working on Corridors. The Contractor shall also be responsible for obtaining clearances from statutory authorities, whenever required. The expenditure on this head shall be deemed to be included in the price quoted by the successful bidder.
Scope:
The Contract shall include but not be limited to the following Works: –
- Design, Supply and Installation of escalators and elevators/Lifts in stations for passenger movement.
- Interface shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor to get all the works associated with the commissioning of escalators completed before Commissioning.
- All minor civil works or modifications (viz chipping in escalator/elevator shafts, civil work required in matching the sill level of stone floor with the floor plate of escalators, fixing / rectification of stone work if damaged during installation of escalators, Filling of side gaps between adjacent staircase or wall and escalators and gaps between bottom of escalator and inclined porting of shaft (if seen through staircase) by providing the SS sheet.
- Transportation of materials and equipment to site for installation purposes.
- Documentation (including submission of Details/ Documents /GAD’s, as built Drawings O&M Manuals, Training Manuals etc in both hard and soft copies & Details of 2nd vendors for Non-proprietary items to be used during execution of this contact).
- PC Based Remote Monitoring System Panel (Audio Visual Indication Panel) in Station Control Room (location to be decided by the engineer) for Escalators & Elevators.
- Maintenance for specified period.
- Any other requirement under the provisions of contract if raised by Engineer for successful commissioning.
- Protection of the equipment during and after the erection – commissioning and up to handing over to Metro Rly is off by the successful bidder.
