Eligibility:
Total contractual amount received during the last three financial years and in the current financial year up to date of opening of tender should be a minimum of 150% of advertised tender value i.e. Rs. 1.87 Crores, No JV Permitted.
Contracts of Single Similar Work:
The tenderer must have successfully completed any of the following during last 07 (seven) years, ending last day of month previous to the one in which tender is invited:
- Three similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of the tender i.e. Rs.37.41 lacs, or
- Two similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of the tender i.e. Rs. 49.88 lacs, or
- One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of the tender i.e. Rs. 74.81 lacs.
As regards “Single Similar Work”: The tenderer should have physically completed:
The Similar word which meansManufacturing, supply, erection, testing and commissioning/ AMC/Modification/ Repairing of Lifts/Elevator/ Escalator. The work must have been carried out in any of the following organisations:
- Central Government Department or State Government Department
- Central Government PSUs or State Government PSUs
- Contractor should have valid electric licence for executing the General electric works Contractor should have valid PWD License for erection and maintenance of lift from Lift Inspector.

Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited (MRVC Ltd.), a Public Sector Undertaking of Govt. of India under Ministry of Railways (MoR) was incorporated under Companies Act, 1956 on 12th July 1999 with an equity capital of Rs. 25 crore shared in the ratio of 51:49 between Ministry of Railways and Government of Maharashtra.
MRVC is involved in executing the suburban rail improvement projects under Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP) as sanctioned by the Ministry of Railways for enhancing suburban rail transportation capacity thereby reducing the overcrowding and meeting future traffic requirements. The corporation is also involved in the planning and development of Mumbai Suburban Rail System.
