Scope of Work:
- The work covers display of energy efficient LED glow signages & energy efficient LED luminaries on passenger amenities areas like platforms, booking hall, waiting rooms & concourse etc. of various stations in Mumbai Suburban Section.
- The work which is not included in the schedule but required to complete the work shall be considered as the part of work and carried out by the contractor accordingly and no payment will be paid for that.
- Agency/ Contractor shall visit the site for designing the signages. Design, model, graphics and colour scheme shall be approved from the user department before supply of LED lit boards.
- Agency/ Contractor shall submit the design report through a professional design expert for appreciation of the user department.
- LED lit Sign Boards are to be provided dust environment and open space and should have proper louvres or ventilation for dissipation of heat generated by drivers/LEDs.
- The quality of the Vinyl/ Polycarbonate sheet/ anodized coating should be covered under a three year warranty from the manufacturer. LED’s/LED drivers shall be covered for free replacement three years warranty from the manufacturer.
- Documentary proof of purchasing of LED/ LED drivers/ Vinyl sheet/ Polycarbonate sheet from a reputed approved brand shall be required to be submitted along with the bill.
- Each LED Lit sign Board should also envisage development of Railway branding by displaying Indian Railway Logo and important messages like ‘’Swatchh Bharat’’ and ‘’No Smoking’’ on any other message as approved etc.
- Inspection of glow sign boards shall be MRVC authorised representative at manufacturers works.
- Supply of 160/250 mm OD PE-80, PN-06 HDPE pipe as per IS 4984-2016. Mobilisation & demobilisation of all equipment, consumables, personnel and workforce etc. as required to work site and back.
- Geotechnical profile and geotechnical reports of site Excavation & making of Thrust pit & Receiving pit.
- Due expertise, supervision over contractors’ operation.
- Storage & security for contractor’s equipment & personnel. Medical coverage & insurance for contractor personnel.
- Provision of JCB & Hydra for excavation of thrust pit & receiving pit.
- Providing proper shoring & shuttering to avoid collapsing of the pit if required
- Barricading & safety provisions of proper site activities.
- Laying of HDPE 250 MM OD PE-80, PN – 06 pipes by micro tunnelling.
- All permits and permissions from Western Railway Division as required for performing the work will be given by MRVC.
- The Permanent Works under this contract shall also include but not be limited to the following:
- Design, manufacture and supply of HDPE jacking pipes or other suitable pipes as approved by the Engineer of various diameters.
- Design, procurement, and installation of HDPE pipes NP-6.
- Approval will be given byMRVC.
- The installations consist of HDPE pipes NP-6 or other pipe including fittings or specials as specified and as approved by the Engineer in the following distinct fronts under the contract.
- Testing under supervision of the Railways & MRVC representative and handing over to the department upon successful testing.
- The constructions complete all the manholes, special chambers, drop arrangements pipes,vent shafts etc.
- Ancillary and incidental works and all necessary works required to complete the work successfully and to entire satisfaction to the Engineer.
Cable laying inside HDPE pipe:
- The specification given below pertains to the entire electrical installation work to be carried out for Station Improvements at Vaitarna (Excluding) and Dhanu Road (Including) stations on Western Railway stations on Western railway.
- Supply of cables, transportation to site, temporary storage, laying, cutting, jointing, diversion & commissioning of 33kV/22kV/11kV/ 2.2kV /1.1kV grade cables & transmission lines laid underground/ over the ground, crossings, on platform, below the tracks, Foot over Bridge (FOB)/ subways/ skywalks, from the railway supply / MSEDCL/Reliance/BEST/TATA/ Local Power supply authorities’ source to Traction Substations/ General service Substation/ Electric room and LT panel to various installations.
- Preparation of existing and proposed HT/LT cable/transmission line route plan, supply, transportation, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning of cables.
- Electrification of platforms, Decks, FOBs, Pathways, service buildings, circulating areas etc.
- Supply and provision of independent earthing system for transformers, HT/LT panel,Feeder, earth stations etc. as per the provision of relevant latest specification & IE rules.
- Supply of pumps, suitable starters, panels, provision of earthing for supply of water from Overhead tank/ underground tank and connecting to suction and delivery system.
- Dismantling & shifting of released material to nominated sites/ depots with contractor own labour and transportation.
- Temporary shifting & modification to existing power supply network, fittings, fans, electrical equipment etc. infringing civil construction work under the project/contract.
- Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of transformers, HT/LT panels of latest relevant specification.
- Temporary lighting arrangement during night for engineering /Electrical working with contractor light fittings and labour.
- Supplies of materials as per approved brands/ manufacturers indicated in technical specification and are for guidance only. However, the employer reserves the rights to select any other equivalent brand.
- The contractor shall submit the details of documents for supply of material/ equipment to the public mass transport authority/public authority/CPWD in the last five years and have a proven performance certificate.
- The cable route for HT/LT cables if available with Railways shall be provided purely as guidance to the tenderer/ contractor. After awarding contract, the contractor has to survey the entire area where the HT/LT cables/transmission lines are to be laid along with client’s engineers/ Railway representatives to assess the actual quantum of work, prepare his own constructional drawings/plans and submit the same for approval before the commencement of any work.
Eligibility:
Average Annual Construction Turnover:
- Minimum average annual contractual turnover of INR 1078.23 Lakhs including GST calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress and/or completed within the last 5 years, divided by 5 years from 1st April 2017.
Work Experience:
- Experience under construction contracts (indicate details of acceptable similar works) in the role of prime contractor, JV member, sub-contractor, or management contractor for at least the last Seven years, starting 1st April 2015.
- The Bidder as a prime contractor or joint venture member4 or management contractor or sub-contractor must have successfully completed any of the following during last 07 (seven) years, ending last day of month previous to the one in which tender is invited:
- Three similar works costing not less than INR- 1078.23 Lakhs including GST, or
- Two similar works costing not less than INR-1437.64 Lakhs including GST, or
- One similar work costing not less than INR 2156.45 Lakhs including GST.
