Facilitating the local manufacture of Trelleborg’s portfolio for the rail industry, Trelleborg inaugurated a new factory of 6,200 square meter in Bangalore this April . Reflecting Trelleborg’s high production standards for anti-vibration systems that have been honed over seven decades, the facility also means enhanced distribution and reduced lead times for customers.

As India continues to invest in its rail infrastructure, Trelleborg’s antivibration solutions operation will work closely with major original equipment manufacturers to share its expertise in the sector, ensuring the design and delivery of market-leading anti-vibration solutions. With local manufacturing and antivibration expertise, customers in India will benefit from in-depth understanding of their specific challenges, shorter lead times and enhanced levels of service.

With sights set on future growth, Trelleborg plans to further develop its Bengaluru anti-vibration facility following its initial opening to provide an engineering center for Rail application along with state of the art Testing facilities , occupying a total of 8,200 square meters within three years.
